      Mayes and Sons were the choice of plumbers by my utility company, and now they will always be my choice. I could have paid considerably more, but I would not have been given higher quality or better service than I received from Mayes and Sons.
      I had sewer insurance through the utility company, which sent Mayes & Sons Plumbing Co. to find the cause of repetitive sewer pipe blockages. The skilled technician snaked and camera-imaged the entire sewer. The issue was found at a broken clay tile pipe just past the basement wall. My insurance wouldn't cover the work needed under the cement pad of an addition. After speaking with the city building department, I learned running PVC pipe inside the basement wall was permissible. I got three quotes. Mayes & Sons gave the best and lowest quote and started quickly. The two-person crew worked skillfully, and the city inspector was pleased with the quality. Mayes & Sons is now my go-to plumber. I couldn't have gotten better quality or service.

      Great job! Small issue at the start of the service,but the field tech was very professional , he handled the issue speedily ,and his office was quick to have answers for him. He additionally helped get us the information we needed so we do not have the same issue happen again. This is our second service from this company,and both times we had the same tech with the same good results. Very sorry I can not remember his name. Kudos to you all!!

      The technician called with an appointment window, showed up within 10 minutes of the beginning of that window, calling to tell me he was on his way.       Textbook quality service! The plumber, Tony, called ahead to make sure we were ready, he was on time and completed the job in the time he expected it would take. He didn't drag his feet like he didn't want to be here nor did he carelessly rush through it. He did it the right way.

      I've seen other plumbers have a careless approach about their task. However, Tony was friendly, effective and didn't leave a trace he was even here. No footprints, no scuffs or anything else a careless plumper might leave behind. He even gave me an explanation what went wrong with the piping originally, showed me his work and asked if I was satisfied. Not too many companies have plumbers like that anymore.

      This company and their employees are the best I have encountered. They were prompt, polite, and worked very hard, they had to redo what they had started due to another blockage. They didn’t complain, they just went to work and completed the job. I spent most of the day with them and they were kind and always explained what they were doing. I would recommend them to anyone, everyone. The first 2 gentlemen to the “dig” team. I cant say enough good things about them, their work ethic was the best I have seen at any business I have dealt with. They ALL deserve a raise and “kudos” for who they are and who they represent.

      Had a disaster turn into a very pleasant event. Our hot water tank began to leak very badly and we could not get hot water. Called the distress number for the gas company that my plan called for and was turned over to Mayes Plumbing. They called promptly early the next morning to get necessary information about the tank, said they would be out between the hours of such & such and they showed up. This gentleman got out of the truck introduced himself to me and away he went in a swift precision fashion to installing my new hot water heater. We chatted about many different subjects as he continued to work and not be distracted in any way. He finished his work in an amazing short time by doing many things at the same time. It was like watching a movie. This is the kind of employee that America needs in all of its job placements. With and employee like this, this company will be around for a long time.

      Came in less than 24 hours from the time I placed the call
      I had my hot water tank stop heating the water. It turned out the pilot light was off. The service guy David came and checked everything and explained that it was my pilot light which I never even thought of.
